But the money isn’t just used to create new titles or sell game consoles. Companies that sell accessories for playing, from graphics cards to monitors, mice, chairs and controllershave seen their incomes skyrocket in recent years.

Nvidia is perhaps the paradigmatic case. The company manufactures many graphics cards that PCs need to display games with the highest level of detail and realism.
