EA Sports™ Reveals All-New FIFA World Cup 2022™ Updates Coming to FIFA 23 | Ap Sports

Today, Electronic Arts, Inc. (NASDAQ: EA) unveiled brand new updates and additions to EA SPORTS™ FIFA 23 ahead of the 2022 FIFA World Cup™, celebrating global play. Fans will be able to download the free* World Cup update starting November 9, 2022 on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Players will also be able to experience the pinnacle of international football on EA SPORTS Mobile FIFA** from November 8, 2022.

It’s amazing how the fans really experience the ups and downs and everything else that can only be felt when the whole world unites through the global game.

In FIFA 23, fans can play as any of the 32 qualifying nations in an authentic recreation of the entire 2022 FIFA World Cup™, from the opening game to the final match. Players also have the ability to customize their tournament experience, changing groups and replacing certain teams that did not reach the final. In Online tournament modefans will fight through the knockout stages like any of the qualifying nations, aiming for glory against other players around the world.

From November 21 to December 18, FIFA World Cup™: Livea curated EA SPORTS World Cup experience, will be available only to players on FIFA 23. Unlike anything seen before in a EA SPORTSFIFA title, this new live experience will be updated during the group and knockout stages of the tournament, allowing players to follow authentic matches and teams for every game. Additionally, fans can take matters into their own hands to rewrite history by changing the outcome of any past game, giving them the limelight.

With Your FIFA World Cup™players can choose a nation, select a live starting point from past or current matchdays, and play an authentic single player tournament inheriting all real progress made to date including rosters, match stats and tournament standings. so far – letting them take control of the fate of their favorite team.

Unique holiday offers enhance the FIFA Ultimate Team experience, with all-new FUT campaigns released from November 11 through December 23, bringing players closer to the action like never before. As players board the plane for the tournament, EA will kick off the excitement, with live items that will receive progression buffs based on each nation’s progress along the journey. Authentic team kits, stadium kits, visuals, match balls, dedicated commentary and more will transport fans to the final crowning of the world champion.

Staggered throughout the “World Cup Path to Glory” event, which runs from November 11-23, FUT fans can look forward to 30 unique World Cup heroes, presented in a custom hero shell World Cup themed.

As the Round of 16 begins, EA will be celebrating the most defining moments of the World Cup so far, celebrating the key qualifying moments that captivated the world. Once the quarter-finals arrive, FIFA fans will be greeted by a new class of World Cup FUT Phenoms, elevating the performances of some of football’s brightest stars.

Finally, as the World Cup draws to a close, FIFA 23 will celebrate the highest performing players along the journey, crowning them Tournament Team Members and awarding them with permanently upgraded items.

All of this will be available for free* for FIFA 23 fans on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One starting November 9, with FUT updates kicking off November 11. The EA SPORTS FIFA Mobile FIFA World Cup 2022 ™ Tournament Mode, available November 8, 2022, will allow fans to earn rewards based on their tournament progress and chosen difficulty by completing the tournament. The rewards will be redeemable at the next FIFA World Cup 2022™ Live Event.

Once the live event begins on November 17 and beyond, players can earn special World Cup players for winning the tournament that they can add to their Mobile FIFA UltimateTeam™.
