Let the games begin: Taylor Swift is now on TikTok, wows with lip-syncing rap
Taylor Swift joined the social media platform TikTok and as a first post she settled for a unique look that could easily be connected to her song ‘Red’. While planning to republish the song, Swift set out to promote the news with a brand new TikTok account and a brand new video. In a caption that read, “There’s a lot going on right now,” Swift made sure to let fans know about her decision to re-edit red.
According to ET Canada, Swift is making some styling changes in the video, from her eras ranging from Folklore to Evermore, and also incorporated a change in her styling to fit Taylor’s version of Fearless. Captioning the video with the pre-order information for Red, Swift informs fans that she’s on TikTok, so “let’s let the games begin.” Throughout the video, the Willow singer aptly syncs with Screwface Capital, a rap song by British rapper Dave whose lyrics are named after Taylor Swift.
In other news, Taylor also announced that she will be collaborating with Ed sheeran in its new version of Red. The two friends will be re-recording Everything has Changed and another song called Run, where Sheeran and Swift would team up. The All Too Well singer had also announced that he had 30 songs that were supposed to be on the Red album before, but some were dropped. However, all 30 songs might be included in his version of the album, which will also include a 10 minute song!
Taylor’s version of Red will be re-released on November 19. Are you looking forward to listening to the old songs again and welcoming the new ones? Share your thoughts on Swift’s new album in the comments below.
