Lil Wayne and Travis Kelce were among the Suns-Mavs Game 7 celebrities

A few celebrities showed up for Game 7 of the Phoenix Suns-Dallas Mavericks series at the Footprint Center on Sunday.

The Suns didn’t.

Lil Wayne, who was at previous games, was there, and announcers Kevin Harlan and Reggie Miller spent part of the third quarter talking about being a huge sports fan, because that was more interesting than the match.

Larry Fitzgerald, the former Arizona Cardinals great and minority Suns owner, was there, of course, perhaps pondering his investment. Former baseball great Alex Rodriguez looked bored, and who could blame him?

And Kansas City Chiefs big tight end Travis Kelce was there too. In fact, it was the subject of one of the most interesting conversations between Harlan and Miller, who filled their cover with whatever they could find, so huge was the eruption.

Kelce had said that Patrick Mahomes, his world quarterback, had planned to come, but missed his flight.

He didn’t miss much.
