WRC Generations game is coming to PC and console
Rallying may not be the highest level of international motorsport, but it probably requires more skill, will and courage than any other. The latest WRC Generations game will allow players to enjoy the high-powered Rally1 hybrid cars competing for the championship in 2022 – enough to get the blood pumping.
Of course there is a lot more to offer, the WRC Generations game also offers 37 historic cars, which can be seen in the trailer on the Nacon North America Youtube channel. The selection includes some of the most revered rally cars of the past, including models from Peugeot and Mitsubishi. If you want total virtual speed, the powerful Rally1 cars of 2022 are also available, including Toyota GR Yaris Rally1, Hyundai i20 N Rally1 and Ford Puma Rally1.
The selection of models can be enjoyed along 165 special stages, including a new high-speed environment from Rally Sweden covered in a layer of powder snow that mimics the Umeå region of the 2022 season. ‘special stages, the game also includes nine locations outside the schedule.
An expanded career mode from WRC 10, its predecessor, returns to WRC Generations which will be able to offer players the ability to create their own teams while a league mode will feature the same online multiplayer as before.
Moving away from the numbered system of games before it, WRC Generations will be the last game developed by Kylotonn and publisher Nacon before their license expires and is transferred to Electronic Arts in 2023.
WRC Generations will be available from October 13 for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S consoles while PC and Nintendo Switch players will be able to enjoy it at a later date which has yet to be announced.
